VS Code supports MCP servers in .vscode/mcp.json (workspace) or user MCP settings — same @karzounchat/mcp-server package as Cursor.

Before you start

  • API key from Developer → API keys
  • GraphQL URL: https://{subdomain}.api.karzoun.chat/graphql
  • A recent VS Code build with MCP support enabled

Configure MCP

1

Create the config file

Add .vscode/mcp.json to your project (or open MCP: Open User Configuration from the Command Palette).
2

Add the Karzoun server

Replace the subdomain and paste the API key from Developer → API keys (shown once).Prefer a focused pack (customer-support, whatsapp, …). Use full only when you need every public tool.
3

Start the server

Open the MCP view in VS Code and start karzoun-customer-support (or your server name). Status should show connected with a tool list.
4

Try a prompt

Ask Copilot Chat (or your MCP client): “Using Karzoun tools, list my first 5 tags”

In-app setup page

Karzoun provides copy-ready snippets at Developer → MCP setup (/developer/mcp-setup) — pick Local → VS Code, choose a pack, then Copy config.

Prefer HTTP instead?

Cloud agents and remote sessions should use hosted MCP or AI app connectors (Claude, ChatGPT, Manus, Gemini, Grok…).
